Yankee Team is a twelve-man squad led by Grigori Weaver who assisted Alpha Squad in killing Dragovich and capturing Steiner.
Rebirth Island
Grigori Weaver can be seen commanding Yankee Team at the beginning of the second part of the level, Rebirth. He and his team go one way, while Jason Hudson's team goes another way. By the end of the level, nearly everyone in the squad is KIA, except for Weaver and Private Nash.
The Rusalka
Yankee Team is also seen in the level, Redemption. At first, Alex Mason, and Hudson are defending Yankee Team from RPG carriers and Triple-A fire on the ship. Mason eliminates these, and guides Yankee Team down into the lower decks of the ship, where they are pinned down. Alpha Team kills these enemies, and orders Yankee Team to prepare for their evacuation.
Mason and Hudson then kill Dragovich.
